Last week, MPK Łódź held a press conference to announce new rules for ticket validation in mobile apps, and Infospread were proud to be part of this important moment. With our zBiletem app, we showcased the new way passengers can use mobile applications for public transport tickets in Łódź. Starting 1st October, passengers will be able to buy tickets in advance and activate them by scanning a QR code upon entering the vehicle. This new system streamlines the ticketing process, ensuring a smooth and quick validation experience.
“Each passenger will need to validate their ticket immediately after boarding by scanning a QR code at the vehicle entrance. Our live demonstration of the purchase and activation process went smoothly—ticket activation takes just a second,” says Monika Kamocka, Communication & Customer care specialist at Infospread and zBiletem.
